Basic Dog Handlers Seminar
11/02/2007
Mike Stewart of Wildrose Kennels will be conducting a Basic Handler Workshop on site at The Sawbriar November 2nd and 3rd. This workshop is a highly intensive, individualized course of instruction held over two days. Courses cover all basic strategies, methods and philosophies of positive reinforcement retriever training. This workshop is good for dogs and great for handlers. It is highly recommended that you use your own dog. If that is not possible, a dog will be made available with prior notification.
On a personal note….
I attended this workshop in Oxford, Mississippi and it was great. It truly changed my confidence and way of thinking about dog training and, therefore, changed my dogs. I took my dog Angus who was 11 months old at the time. He was the youngest there and responded exceptionally well. Most dogs in attendance were 2-4 years old. Now that I have my new dog Bull following closely behind at 4 months old, I am using the same techniques and seeing results a lot earlier. All in all, money well spent.
